This may sound kind of blasphemous but sometimes I dunno if I hated Maiko more than I liked Zutara.
It's kinda sad. I was turned off more by the idea of Mai and Zuko being together than I was with katara and Zuko being together.
I mean don't get me wrong, Zutara! Omg! *melt* but yeah, there was never the gutteral reaction I had from Ryrissa.
I can't help but feel my love for Zutara was born from the epic fail that was kataang and Maiko.

And, I can't help but feel that I do like seeing Aang unhappy. The kid's too happy. Too outgoing in the face of adversity and, it does seem kind of his fault his people are dead. Granted the ships could've found him and killed him and we'd have no hope to begin with but...it does seem kind of correlated with his disappearance. Also, he just seems to get whatever he wants. Girlfriend, superpowers, not having to kill Ozai cuz that'd be a moral dilemna..

IDK? Is it so wrong to want to see him suffer because of all that he's getting?
I just hate Mai and overall think she doesn't deserve to be even alive today but...yeah.

Fine I lie. I know how. I got Beautiful Soul stuck in my head (had it all throughout work) and then I came home, looked up more songs and laughed at some Zukartney art. Tried to see his other work, saw Law and Order and thought that shit was fiercely bad. But not on his part, surprisingly. Then someone posted a link to his latest movie, "Keith" and I fell...right in love with it. The movie, has moved me. MOVED ME. I LOVE IT, I OBSESS OVER IT. I feel sorry for him though. This was his big acting break, and it was only an Indie movie that hardly anyone saw. The thing is, the studio kept on trying to make Kessler change Keith...make him more cute and sweet instead of a jerk. That's not who Kessler or Carlson imagined, and I'm glad they got away from the studio to do their thing.

But you know...I think that if Jesse...had more recognition for this role, and if they'd gone batshit the year ago it should've been released...he would've given up singing and decided to focus on an acting career. Don't get me wrong, the boy would still sing...but if he heard how many people adored him in this movie...and if more people could see just how incredible he can be...he'd just give up this bullshit ghetto schtick he's trying to prove. Jesse you're not black, do not try. BE AN ACTOR. BE THE NEXT LEO. YOU ARE THE NEXT LEO, SO SHOW THE WORLD OMG PLEASE.

Haters to the left left left (lol), because IDK, this boy could make a great Zuko. Obv. Zuko is Asian but no one seems to think Asians can act...shame. This is gonna sound ludicris, but I don't want Jesse to be in this film cuz I think he can do better. NGL. This Avatar movie, sucks. The animated series is phenomenal, but the movie, will and is gonna suck so bad. Mostly because M Night No Talent One Trick Shymalan is directing it and it's gonna look like the Power Rangers...except even less racially diverse. I think Jesse should be taking roles that are serious, and more dramatic and good like Keith. I think he can get a chance to stretch his acting muscles as Zuko, but IDK if I can believe him as a Fire Nation prince.

He's still amazing though, and he's got the angry jerk part down.

I'm trying to think of the capture scene in the Waterbending scroll...and it's making me feel dirty and wrong. I hate this casting team and Bryke (CUZ I KNOW THEY DID IT) for making sure Katara was like twelve. Now Kataang is less squicky cuz live action Zutara will squick me out...damn if I end up shipping MAIKO...ugh.

I say this as a moderate Brit fan. I have always liked Britney Spears and was worried about her mental self for the longest time but damn, listening to her songs now are reallllyyyyyyyyy impressing me. She's also dancing again! Yay! Oh and fangirl for womanizer, girl got SKINNY in like hours. She looks fantastic and her career is finally ON TRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! You'd never believe her life was spiralling before like omg girl keep it up! Right now my favourite song is "Unusual You" and her cover of "Out From Under". Great songs. I'm so excited for the whole album (Dec. 2!!)

In other news, Smeyer's such an idiot I can't believe people read her garbage. Like really. The fact she idolizes MCR in her books for "inspiration" makes me cry with laughter. The same goes with her love for LINKIN PARK. BITTTTTTTTTTNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG WITH MY TEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETHHHHHHH. Yeah idk. I'm disappointed that she likes Muse though. This makes me feel unhappy that we share musical tastes. However, I've never let a dumb person's love of something take away from my love of something. Therefore, my love for Muse remains undisturbed.

AND my fandoms have recently switched. HARDCORE CHAMERON RIGHT HERE. But Huddy's got my interest for shure. House's "angst" is making me so happy. I'm happy at this House angst for Cuddy. DON'T DENY IT BB, KISS HER AGAIN. I think there's a lot of animosity that the Chameron fanbase has for Ausiellio cuz he supposedly "supports" Hameron. I'm doubtful. I mean, Bryke couldn't stop yammering on about Zutara but in the end they ended up being dickless Kataangers. And the biggest trolls ever. So, I'm sure that Ausiello, in his "supprot" of Ham, really likes Cham.

I feel kind of bad. Let me explain why: I hate Hameron. And I don't like people who ship Hameron either. Aside from my Zutarian sistren who love Ham. I say this because whenever I visit the House Fox forums, the Hams always insist on raining on the Huddy parade or the Cham love. For seriously, Ham is over. And "The Itch" solidified this definite over and there's no way it's ever going to be rehashed again. It's quite apparent that House likes Cuddy. Cameron has moved on to someone who doesn't mentally break her down. Cam isn't a masochist anymore, House never really liked Cameron too much in the first place. However, I will never stop the Hams from writing their fanfiction. That's their prerogative to enjoy Ham but I'd appreciate if Hams wouldn't berate Huddy for not being "sexy" enough. Cameron is thirty and House is "fifty" (really sixty). But the gross age difference isn't what makes the ship unlikely. It just doesn't make sense for two matured characters to regress for the sake of a ship.

Guys...I have a DEEP aversion to Phoenix/Apollo. It's...it's...oh my gawd it's just disgusting. This amazing fanartist who does Apollo/Trucy (ACHTUNG BABY, THAT'S WRONG) did this comic with Apollo and Phoenix and my lunch...it was almost lost.

It's...it's just not wright. Phoenix/Edgeworth OKAY but I always look at Phoenix as being Apollo's DAD and by proxy...I guess he sorta is. In a very very messed up way. I mean look at me, I like Apollo/Trucy (more because it's so doomed) but...Phoenix/Apollo...EW. GUYS NAW THAT'S JUST NASTY. CUT IT OUT. All in all, the artist did a smashing job, and made me want to vomit. *shiver* The subtext...IT ISN'T THERE. Edgey's angst is subtext, I will give you that.

Then again, I have an aversion to incest in general. I don't get the attraction to Klavier/Kristoph. I mean I do. They're both GORGEOUS but it's so topical. They're both completely ego absorbed assholes, with Klavier being the slight more sane one and also not evil. It just couldn't work. The sexual tension isn't even there either. That's grasping at straws people. Ema/Lana ain't there either and Maya/Mia. It's just not there.

I find it very cruel that Apollo and Trucy are half siblings. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT CAPCOM?

That being said...I find that it only AMPLIFIES how awesome the pairing is. Cuz now, it's totally wrong and the pairing is doomed. It's totally romantic. I mean seriously, it's already setting up for a romantic turnabout...all that's left is the pieces that will make the puzzle. RUHROH.

There's something detestable with the decline in the show and I think Lois and Clark was the best adaptation so far. Dean made an amazing Superman and Teri was a convincing Lois Lane.

I hate Mai. Her awesome? Completely lost on me. I don't see her appeal, I don't find her pretty, I don't LIKE her at ALL. She is just...UGH. Okay, I don't see why people fanboi her so much but you know if you like her, fine but PLEASE don't force your Mai love on me.

First off the bitch abandoned her family. I don't care if it was under harsh circumstances, the bitch ABANDONED her family and I watched that whole episode again JUST to see if she did in fact do anything that would cause me suspect otherwise. I've been told, "She thought the Avatar was eevvill that's why she didn't trust him enough to retrieve Tom Tom from him!" No, she listened to Azula and did not have her own voice in the matter. She outright HATED the city, hated her parents and said she hated everything in that episode. What would it MATTER if Aang was evil or not, if she truly CARED about her brother, WHO WOULD CARE HONESTLY? Would Katara care? NO. Would Zuko care? NO. Would Sokka care? NO. Don't give Mai the benefit of the doubt. What she did was WRONG and there is NO WAY to justify that.

Secondly even IF the Avatar was evil she left the damn city before her brother came back. She didn't stay with her parents, she didn't console her parents, she...oh gawd. She didn't do anything of the sort. SHE LEFT with Azula! GUYS, THAT'S WRONG.

Thirdly, she's a boring ass ugly fugly girl okay? Lol. I think I get so bewildered when people call her beautiful or pretty. I'm actually glad people out there exist though. It makes ugly people feel less fug.

I have a new ship, it's Kyonko and Haruhiko. Now, you ask...who? And I'll tell you. They are the genderbended versions of Haruhi and Kyon and I WILL NOT LIE, it is TEN TIMES HOTTER than the original ship. Seriously. I don't find Haruhi attractive with Kyon more than I find her irritating, but somehow her arrogance and hot blooded nature is much more fitting in a man's skin. I have a feeling KyoAni originally wanted Haruhi as a man but then switched her for originality's sake. In many ways, the genderbended versions of the characters just seem way more RIGHT than otherwise. I kinda like Itsuki better as a guy though. People have an annoying tendency to confuse Itsuki's gay as gay for Kyon when I doubt that's the case. Plus the gay's a lot more subtle when they're both guys. Pervs (fanboiz) play up the lesbo with Kyonko and Itsuko which is irritating because I just don't see Itsuko as being gay for Kyonko.

Now, I don't mean to say Itsuki's not gay, because HE DEFINITELY BY ALL REALMS OF ANYTHING IS but not for Kyon. His gay is specifically manufactured to make Kyon unreasonably uncomfortable. And it works. As a girl, all she'd have to do is exhibit some "way too close" tendencies with Kyonko but there's no need for NOSEBLEED KYONKO PANTYSHOT or whatever. Itsuko isn't gay for Kyonko, just very gay.

Anyway I'm disturbed at how fanboiz fap to Kyonko because Kyon is actually a guy. Like SERIOUSLY, that's just kinda sad. This infatuation with Kyonko is...almost sickening and would surely drive Kyonko and ESPECIALLY KYON insane. How does an insanely snide bastard get genderbent into a moe quiet little bitch? Obviously Kyonko is going to be a little more feminine now that he's a girl but don't rob him of his dignity. Kyonko should be snide, a bitch and incredibly sarcastic. Not tsundere and moe. She's a snide bitch of epic proportions, and no plz no blushing all the freaking time. IDK, that's what gets me angry. I don't like seeing perfectly good characters genderbended and then turned completely opposite. Obviously there'll be differences but not insane ones.

But seriously, Kyonko and Haruhiko is like the bomb. WAY BETTER than Kyon and Haruhi. Also way easier to look at and squee over. Haruhi's definitely the guy and Kyonko seems less bored!

So, reading the VK manga and it is AMAZING. Honestly, I feel less bad for reading it (even if it is shoujo) but don't get me wrong, I am WATCHING those episodes NO MATTER WHAT. Anyway, so Kaname is Yuuki's brother and then LMAO she says, "I've been in love with my brother." and he says, "What's wrong with that?" I LAUGHED MY ASS OFF. It's so gorram hot. I kid you not. Reading it is like reading the kama sutra. I see no difference. It's SERIOUSLY BEYOND SEXY. Oh gawd I love it so much.

Seriously. I love it all. Not all the slash pairings but...at least all the pairings presented. KANAME X ZERO FTW. Anyway I love Ruka/Kaname. She's soooo in love with him and I know she eventually does give in and accepts Yuuki but jeez her and Kaname are great. However at the same time I LOVE KANAME/YUUKI!!!!! It makes me squeal with happiness.

This is probably the ONLY time I have EVER multi-shipped (aside from Seth). The only time where I have EVER FELT..."It's all good." If you've read my entries in the past you will KNOW I HATE multishippers and pretty much wanted to tear Taryans a new one for liking R/M too. And do the same for Ryrissa shippers who like Taryan. I think one thing about Vampire Knight is...all the characters are incredibly attractive and beautiful but at the same time incredibly one dimensional. There's really no room for debate imo about who should end up with who because they're really all so paper thin in the character department. I mean don't get me wrong, there's history and back story but...I'm not quite sure what defining characteristics are in each of the characters aside from Aidou and Ichijou. And maybe some of the lesser vampires. Kaname and Zero lack personality to the nth degree. I'm not quite sure how I'd describe both of them which is a bad thing because I can usually get it by the eighth episode. I realise that this may be "subtlety" but I don't think so.

Zero is...quiet, an idiot when it comes to Yuki, hates vampires and a loner. Well I guess those are qualities but...where's the stubborn, self-righteous, childish, immature, dominating, care-free...kind of qualities that we see so easily in Avatar characters?
Kaname is quiet, reserved, silently dominating...okay seriously

I think Zero and Kaname both have personalities but I guess I just don't find them that interest. They're both hot and sexyfine as hell but...damn, they need to get more interesting. IDK, Yuuki also needs to stop being so "EL GASP" at everything.

Coldplay's new album? Awesome. I'm aware that a good majority of the world hates Coldplay...but I don't. I don't know what good music is anymore to be honest. I listen to whatever sounds nice to my ears. And no, death metal isn't one of those things. I'm aware that technical aspects are important to music being good but...coldplay's very technical...sooo....I don't see the correlation.

In other news...AFI'S NEW STUFF HAS BEEN LEAKED!!! One song but it is...HEAVENLY! AH! It's like I'm sixteen again and all happy go lucky. Anyway this isn't really a fandom post...I just had to get some fangirlling for my fave bands out.

It's shoujo garbage. ALRIGHT? But I can't stop it's so cute. Okay so I know what Yuuki really is and I know that bla bla bla I'm supposed to pick a ship but I ACTUALLY CAN'T. OH MY GAWD. Like I get all "Awww" and gooey when I see Kaname being all protective of her and treating her like a total princess but then I get all "Awww" when Zero angsts for Yuuki. It's just so absolutely mind numbingly adorable. I ship THE OT3 OF A LIFE TIME. Honestly I'll get sad if she picks only one of them. BOTH OF THEM...but not at once. I don't like that. Can't they just meld into one person? Kazero? Zaname? Like how they did the whole clone Sakura thing in Tsubasa...Zero and Kaname better get her too! But I have a feeling she'll end up with Zero. Everyone favours Zero. It's then that I like Kaname/Yuuki more (to fight the flow) but honestly I loveeee Zero/Yuuki. They're perfect for each other. BUT SO ARE KANAME/YUUKI...AHHH

It's really bad though. I can't stand it when people say that things are amazing just because they like them. Be a little objective okay. I understand that VK has a large fanbase and fan following and that's because it has appeal. Is it a great anime storyline wise? Gawds no. Is it very original? Vampires in school...no not original...at all. Is the animation good? Yes but not the best. If you want good animation you go for Kyo Ani. Honestly VK is not that great of an anime but it sells because it's got appeal. I know I can't stop watching it no matter how stupid it gets (like HONESTY HOW MANY TIMES IS YUUKI GONNA INNER MONOLOGUE HOW MUCH SHE LOVES KANAME?) and I want to know what else happens.

See I'd give VK a 6.5-7/10, watching it OBJECTIVELY what I don't like is how people manage to rate books and stuff like...I don't know...Twilight and say it's the best stuff they've ever read. Stephanie Meyer's writing is garbage and her portrayal of vampires is atrocious and laughable. They sparkle in the sun instead of bursting into flames? Edward drinks animal blood? It's like the most G-rated a vampire can get. Vampire-lite even. See, it's okay for people to like Twilight because PEOPLE LIKE BAD THINGS. You're allowed to love kitsch. You're ALLOWED to like tacky things because you're allowed to like ANYTHING. However, if you're honestly going to reprimand someone for saying something is bad...when it is SCREAMINGLY objectively bad...you gotta reevaluate what you're doing there.

I hate Twilight. This is no secret. I hate it with every bone in my body, possibly more than Harry Potter. But then again I don't hate Harry Potter anymore because the whole thing parodied itself in the end. The ending was perfect and completely anti climatic and predictable but at least the idea was copied from a good source. JKR loved her some JRR Tolkien...
