Fandom Marriage: CHUCK!
I have a new fandom. FANDOM THY NAME IS CHUCK! And, for the most part I get along with these people because they are Firefly fans and the O.C. fans. What is irritating is that the Firefly fans and O.C. fans can get a little abrasive when it comes to which show is referenced to more. As an O.C. veteran...it's the O.C. only because Josh was the creator. Please, Dice in the Sandworm AND R/M on the boat in the Tango? Come on guys, you know which one it is. The Firefly references are always implied and marginal but still enjoyable. Haha "Shiny" and "If you say that name again, I will end you." Not Jayne specifically, but Firefly.
I AM DYING for a Firefly reference though. I want more O.C. too. Please omg Josh recreate all the O.C. scenes in Chuck! More specifically season 1? Seriously, one Taryan reference and I'm never watching the show again (no that's not true but I'll be unimpressed). She's ALIVE, GIVE US DEAD GIRL FANDOM JOSH. But, I kinda think that's what he's trying to do...make up for killing her off and pissing off a quarter of the fandom.
Chuck is pretty much the marriage of Firefly and the O.C. for me. Which is so awesome because both shows are incredible, and it just feels like home to me when I watch Chuck. Adam Baldwin is so hot and so awesome that I am becoming a fan girl rapidly. I love Jayne I love Casey. I am DYING to hear someone tell Casey, "Isn't that a girl's name?" I WILL DIE. DIE I TELL YOU, DIE. Seriously, during the Sandworm episode, the crazy guy is pretty much a MIRROR of Oliver. I was going insane because it was a purposeful homage to the O.C.! IT'S INCREDIBLE! THANK YOU JOSH FOR GIVING ME THIS, LET ME KEEP IT PLEASE. Also, resolve those differences with Mischa so you can hire her as a guest star. Oh, Ben too. Preferably together.
Also, guess who's a Chuck/Sarah shipper now!! WOOOOOO.
P.S., all Jaylee fans...though I don't believe in that ship no matter how much Jayne likes Kaylee...Kaylee would LOVE CASEY. She'd...LOVE HIM. LOVE HIM. Also, LOL Jayne Cobb and John Casey have the same initials. IT'S PERFECT.
Edit: Okay, so remember when I said I am a spiteful person? Well, since most of the O.C. fandom wants Lou (aka Summer) to get with Chuck in the end....I don't want her to come back just for the sake of that. Mostly cuz those people are all crazy shippers who think that Chuck/Summer are the new Seth/Summer. I get how that is, but I hate it. No. Chuck/Sarah FTW and they will be canon. ARE canon. Also, R/T sucks.
Just had to get that somewhere in there.
Edit #2: I LOVE Lou though. And, I really would like her to come back, but not as a love interest for Chuck. Or that wouldn't be what I'd want to be canon...at all. WHAT IF, Lou came back with friends like Ryan and Marissa and they all had this awk. fantastic four revival thing? Come on Josh! You're ego centred enough to go for that aren't ya?!
